Caged But Not Confined

Uninhibited and free as the wind am I,
and ever running to and fro as I wish,
with a spirit unbound and carefree.

Until that fateful day that I met her and
my freedom I gladly and without concern
gladly traded with the gods for the sweet
ties of precious unbound love.

And now I am evermore tethered to her
and though I am caged I am not confined
because of the great love that resides within
me for her.
